Sea Kayak Tour in Portland Harbor

2 hours, $40 per person

A brief sea kayak tour allows time for a lesson in basic paddling techniques and a cruise along the historic waterfront of Portland harbor. We'll look out for seals and seabirds and enjoy gorgeous views of lighthouses, forts, marine observatories, working wharves and ships from all over the world. This is a great option for groups of all sizes and people of all experience levels — including first-time kayakers. We typically use two-person, tandem kayaks for this tour, though solo kayaks are available for experienced kayakers upon request.

SUP TOur in Portland Harbor

2 hours, $40 per person

A brief Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) tour is another great option for groups looking for a brief adventure that’s suitable for all experience levels. SUP is a sport that's incredibly fun and can be fairly easy to learn. Our expert staff will start the group off with a paddling lesson and then lead the way on a cruise along the coastline of Portland harbor. Along the way we’ll look out for seals and seabirds, and we may find some chances to try out SUP yoga. Paddlers often get wet on SUPs, so having a warm layers and/or a change of dry clothes is a good idea.

Fort Gorges Kayak Tour

3-4 hours, starting at $55 per person

If your team is up for an adventure of three hours or longer we can arrange a paddle to Fort Gorges, an abandoned mid-19th-century structure on a tiny island that is one of the most popular paddling destinations in Casco Bay. We'll share with the group the fascinating history of the fort and allow plenty of time for the group to explore its beautiful grounds. The views of the bay from the fort are wonderful. Some groups plan to have a picnic or snack at the fort, and we are happy to provide dry bags for you to pack food. Alternatively, for an extra fee we can provide a picnic lunch. This trip is a unique mix of sea kayaking, island exploration and time travel into the 19th-century!

SUP Yoga Class

1.5 hours, starting at $30 per person

We offer weekly SUP yoga classes for the public, and we are always happy to schedule a special class for private groups. If your team loves yoga this could be a great chance for everyone to practice their poses while floating. No prior experience with either yoga or SUP is required. Our SUP instructors will teach you everything you need to know, and we’ll provide everyone anchors for their boards so they don’t float away during the class.
